Transaction self-invocation prevents transactional behavior from being applied.
Transaction self-invocation occurs when a method calls another method within the same class that should be transactional. Spring’s proxy-based AOP does not intercept these calls, so the transaction management won’t work as expected. In a payment processing class, if a transactional method `processPayment()` calls another transactional method `logTransaction()`, the transaction might not be properly managed unless handled externally.
